Text Box: 1st HORTON KIRBY SCOUT GROUP Barbara Bradley 862005 SCOUTING has passed it's Centenary year and is proving very popular in the Villages. Lots of young people are joining our Group - both boys and girls. After the fun year we have just had, our Scouts are off snow tubing and tobogganing next month, with camps booked for the Easter and summer holidays. We enjoyed our visit to senior citizens in their sheltered accommodation where we presented them with homemade Christmas cards and presents. We have visits planned to go ice skating, bike riding in Bedgebury Pinetum, a visit to a Wrestling match and the local pantomime. To support our Fundraising, we have organised a BARN DANCE At Horton Kirby & South Darenth Village Hall Friday 8th February dancing to the 'SKINNERS RATS'.
