SPECIAL THEATRE PRODUCTION--'AT THE HOP'

This musical production being hosted in the Village Hall on Wednesday 26th October could have been written especially for our villages.
Romance, comedy and the dawn of the new age of rock and roll combine in this family story set over two generations against the back drop of the great summer exodus to the Kent countryside to pick hops.
Forest Forge Theatre Company and Third Space Theatre (who brought us the 'Titfield Thunderbolt') recreate the world of the hop picker, a world of bines, pole-pullers and monkeys, pockets, pokes, stilt walkers, tally sticks and tallymen.
Make a note in your diary now.  Suitable for all from 8 years.Purchase your tickets from Ken or Carol Allart (865193) -£6 or £3 (under 18s) in advance , £8 (£4) on the door.  It is hoped that we can make this into an evening not to be missed whether you are a rock and roller, a history buff or a local hankering after the good old days. If you have any additional ideas for the evening such as display of old photographs contact Ken or Carol.
