PAYPHONE AT HORTON KIRBY

Following a request from a resident of Millen Court for the removal of the Horton Kirby payphone due to the anti social behaviour (including vandalism and graffiti) that it attracts, the Parish Council asked BT to remove it. 

BT have responded that they will remove the phone box "if it is the wish of the entire community".  The Parish Council therefore would like to know if there are people who rely on the payphone and who would be inconvenienced by its removal. If we do not hear from you, we shall assume support for its removal.  Please reply in writing to the parish office, village hall, Horton Road, South Darenth, DA4 9AX by 31 July if you have concerns or objections about the loss of the phone box

Club members and friends have recently had a popular visit to Wisley, and during the summer we will be visiting two more Gardens one of which is an award winning wild life garden in Horton Kirby.
A friendly welcome awaits all visitors to our relaxed meetings which are held each month on the third Monday at 8.00 pm in the village hall.
