BUS STOP
It has been suggested by one resident that the bas stop in East Hill near to Leeraj's should be moved to a wider part of the road such as outsideTurner's. What do others think?
Horton Kirby Environmental Centre
Gary Cliffe, the centre manager would like to thank Jeremy Lucus and his firemen colleagues from the HK & SD fire station for pumping out the water in the Centre's pond on 20th January so that a team of volunteers could dredge it to encourage more wildlife. It really had become clogged up with too much weed. Winter was the best time to do this management work as much of the freshwater life is dormant.. Also thanks to the Horton Kirby Village Society for sponsoring the cost of a class set of ponchos for visiting pupils to use during poor weather.
