REPAIR WORKS TO VIADUCT
Work on the viaduct which began last August is at last coming to a close. The scaffolding started coming down on the first 2 arches in the middle of last month and the men and their portacabins will be gone by September. John Hayward, site manager said: "We know that we have been a thorn in the side of the community for the past year but the work has been absolutely necessary. We have been very impressed by the way the locals have put up with the disruption and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for being so tolerant."
