Your local WI which meets on the 3^rd Thursday each month in the village hall is delighted to have recently welcomed new members to their friendly institute.  WI is not all jam making and cake baking (though we do sing Jerusalem!) but gives women the chance to participate in many activities in great company and enjoy interesting speakers on a variety of topics.  If you have been thinking about giving it a try, why not make a date in your diary now and come along on 15 June.  You will be given a warm welcome.

There are a few vacancies at the Friday afternoon session of the Horton Kirby and South Darenth foot clinic in the village hall.  This is a special clinic for pensioners with reduced charges. If you are interested phone 07867 603886.
