We are open term time - Monday - Friday - 9.15 to 12.15 - Village Hall
Rising 5 sessions are held in the  Environmental Centre on :-
Monday 9.15 to 1.p.m. Friday 9.30 to 12.30 .
Our 38 years means that our knowledge of child welfare for ages between 2 and a half - 4 years is second to none and will continue to be so, with the high ratio of qualified and dedicated staff. Our latest Ofsted inspection has just been completed with excellent feedback from the Inspector. The group is at present working on the Kent Quality Kitemark which we hope to complete this year. We have also been approached to undertake the
INVESTORS IN PEOPLE which is one of our future projects.

W.I. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Horton Kirby & South Darenth Women's Institute is 80 this year and will be marking the anniversary in December with a grand dinner party in the Village Hall.

The year's run-up to this great occasion will be filled with delightful fund-raising events. In addition to a varied selection of speakers and demonstrations on subjects as diverse as "Puppets, Piers and Pantomimes", "Roses", the work of the Salvation Army, "Traitors and Spies" and porcelain flowers we will be organising walks, barbecues and games evenings.

At District level we have plans for several coach outings to exotic venues, quiz nights, competitions and lunches, while County provides a hugely varied programme for the year, including music, crafts, nature walks and interesting outings. So all in all 2005 looks like being an exciting year, with something to suit all tastes.

Horton Kirby & South Darenth W.I. meets in the Village Hall at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of every month and would welcome new members to share in their birthday celebrations.
