The village hall is used every New Year's Eve for a family disco for local people which raises funds for local charities.  Since the fire brigade has stopped organising the event, it has been used for other good causes.  The organisers are chosen by ballot and forms are available now for anyone who would like the opportunity to have this night to put on an event.  Call Carol Allart (865193) or pop in to the parish office .  The closing date is March 28^th.

HACKNEY CARRIAGE BYELAWS--Copies of new byelaws made by SDC are available in the parish office at 20p.
