1st HORTON KIRBY SCOUT GROUP

Members of the Scout Group have enjoyed games, picnics and boat races in Westminster Field, cooking meals and activities in our campsite in Farningham Woods, and a summer camp beside the sea at Kingsdown near Deal.  We camped under canvas overlooking the English Channel, swam in the sea, abseiled, learnt to rifle shoot and came home exhausted.

We are pleased to say that our Beaver Colony (ages 6 - 8) is full.  To go on the waiting list, please telephone John on 01322 284958. There is plenty of room in the Cub Pack (ages 8 - 101/2) and the Scout Troop (ages 101/2 - 14).  Please telephone Barbara on 01322 862005 for places.

We are organising a FAMILY RACE NIGHT on FRIDAY 14TH NOVEMBER in the Village Hall from 7.30pm.  Tickets are £5 per adult - children welcome and we have organised a special race in the interval for all the children to take part in.  Tickets from the leaders, please bring your own drinks and nibbles.

We are still in need of scout leaders especially for the older childrenThey meet on Mondays between 7.30pm - 9pm.  Can you help?
Telephone 01322 862005 anytime for more information.
