Christmas Celebrations,
7^th December    11 am Gift Service.
14^th December 5pm Tea, followed by Carols at the flats.
21^st December 5pm Tea, followed by Candlelight service
25^th December 10:30am Christmas Day service.

S.D.V.C. will again this year be sending shoe boxes to children in
troubled parts of the world. 85 boxes were sent last year from the village. With your help we would like to do even better this time.
You may obtain a leaflet from the Parish Council Office or Gwen Dawes(862443).  Please leave your boxes either at the Parish Council office or with Gwen by 2^nd November.
It is worth remembering that for many of these children, your shoe box will be the only present they receive. Please read the leaflet carefully and follow the instructions, only putting in the box items that are new or in perfect condition. Thank you so much for your help.
